New HQ for JCB SoCal
The JCB dealer for Southern California, SoCal JCB, has opened a new headquarters in Fontana, California, on the north east edge of Los Angeles.
The 1.5-acre greenfield facility includes a three bay workshop, warehousing, demonstration areas, training rooms a showroom and offices as well as a decent yard. The move follows the
acquisition of JCB Southern California by JCB America last September.

The new premises in Fontana
The new facility was officially opened with a ribbon cutting by the mayor of Fontana, Acquanetta Warren with other local dignitaries in attendance. JCB’s senior management was represented by Richard Fox-Marrs, chief executive of JCB North America and a third generation member of the founding family Alice Bamford.

The new premises are officially open
David Hill, vice president of JCB West Coast said: “The SoCal JCB team is genuinely committed to providing local customers with the JCB equipment and support they need to operate efficient, profitable businesses. The changes SoCal JCB is implementing, from opening this new facility, to doubling the number of mobile JCB technicians on the road, are creating a great customer experience and are becoming a model for dealers throughout North America.”
SoCal JCB covers the greater Los Angeles area and neighbouring counties. It previously based in City of Industry, closer to the centre of Los Angeles and around 35 miles away.
