Grove RT for Port of London
UK public trust Port of London Authority (PLA) has taken delivery of a 45 tonne Grove RT550E Rough Terrain crane.
The RT550E features a five section 39 metre main boom plus an eight metre swingaway extension which can be offset at zero, 20 or 40 degrees. The crane was delivered by Grove dealer Crowland Cranes, and has been equipped with a 270 degree camera system and
Crowland’s wireless wind speed system.

Engineering superintendent David Kelly said: “We are not only very impressed with the capability of the new Grove, but with the service and assistance from the team at Crowland Cranes.”
