Crawler crane overturn in Kuala Lumpur
Four people including a three month old baby were injured after the lattice boom of a crawler crane came down landing on three houses and two cars in the Bandar Baru Sentul area of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Saturday.
We have it on good authority that the boom and jib of the crane - a Sumitomo crawler crane owned by TCS Crane Rental - flipped over the rear with one set of tracks sinking into the ground, as the boom and jib went over the back, landing onto a busy road, striking the cars and buildings on the other side.
