30m Manitous for Wemo-tec

German rental company Wemo-Tec has taken delivery of the first of two 30 metre/five tonne Manitou MRT 3050 Privilege+ 360 degree telehandlers.

The MRT 3050 can take two tonnes to its maximum lift height and handle 350kg at its maximum forward reach of 25.8 metres. It also features variable outrigger spread up to the maximum 6.25 metres and has an overall weight of 21,850kg.

The hand over

Wemo-Tec’s aerial work platform and lifting manager, Helge Jost, said: "We now have around 30 telescopic handlers from the six metre /2.5 tonne fixed frame models to 30 metre/five tonne 360 degree units. The Manitou Privilege+ series in particular are handy and efficient companions on any construction site in forklift, crane or work platform mode and can also be operated by radio control from the ground if necessary.”

The MRT 3050 was delivered by Manitou dealer Domnick + Müller with the second unit scheduled in the coming months.
Wemo-Tec is based in Eichenzell near Fulda and runs a fleet of around 600 machines from six locations.
