Second Bronto Skylift S70XDT

Mumbai based logistics and safety equipment rental company Assam Bombay Carriers has taken the delivery of another 70 metre Bronto Skylift S70XDT truck mounted lift.

This is the second Bronto to enter the company's fleet and is the first new Bronto to be mounted locally onto a local chassis - a five axle Bharat Benz. The unit was equipped with an extendable work platform, as well as power supply outlets in the basket.

The first unit was built on a four axle Volvo and delivered readily mounted from Bronto Skylift’s plant in Finland. The mounting work was carried out by Bronto dealer Brijbasi Hi-Tech, that has a great deal of experience supplying Bronto platforms to India’s fire and rescue sector. The work was carried out with the support of a Bronto factory technician.

Assam Bombay Carriers’ managing director Praveen Sharma said: “We see a strong potential for bigger aerial platforms in India. We bought our first used Bronto in 2016 after a long and in depth study and have now bought two new S70XDT’s to strengthen our fleet. The safety awareness in India has increased a lot in past years. We as well as our customers attach great importance to quality and safety. We chose Bronto Skylift for its excellent product quality, value and quick delivery time.”
