Empire Crane to distribute Broderson

US carry deck and Rough Terrain crane manufacturer Broderson has appointed Empire Crane Company as its distributor of carry deck industrial cranes in New York, Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Empire has placed an initial stock order for four Broderson cranes, including a 2.5 tonne IC20-1K, a four tonne IC35-2G, a 18 tonne IC200-3J and a 25 tonne IC400-3B carry deck crane. It also has taken a new nine tonne IC80-3L at its Boston location and already sold a 15 tonne IC200-3J.

Ed Kocsis, major accounts and east region manager at Broderson, said: “Empire Crane has the facilities, support infrastructure, and a team which possesses strong industry knowledge. We look forward to working with Empire Crane to promote and support the Broderson product line in the northeast.”

Empire Crane co-owner Paul Lonergan, added: “It’s a very compact machine which makes it great for indoor applications at plants or industrial manufacturing facilities. Being a Broderson dealer will allow us to support this market sector better than we ever could before.”

Established in 2002 by brothers Paul and Luke Lonergan, Empire Crane is an authorised dealer for Demag Tadano, Kobelco and Tadano Mantis, Manitex, Broderson, Magni and Wolffkran. The company offers sales, parts, service and rentals from locations in Syracuse, New York, Bridgewater, New Jersey, and Boston, Massachusetts.
