LGMG scissors for UPA

UK rental company United Powered Access (UPA) has taken delivery of three 53ft LGMG SR1623 Rough Terrain scissor lifts.

The SR1623 offers a maximum working height of 18 metres, and comes complete with four wheel drive, levelling jacks, and dual roll out extensions - taking the platform length from 3.98 metres retracted to 6.58 metres with both fully extended. Maximum platform capacity is 680kg for two people while the extension capacity is 230kg. The company said that this is the first of several new product deliveries planned for the year as it adds to its product range.

UPA general manager Jason O’Brien said: “We first trialled LGMG’s 1623 last year and it has proved to be very effective on several sites. Customer feedback has supported this in terms of quality and reliability. The machines are well built, supported by a comprehensive after sales service. They are already out on sites in Wellingborough, Suffolk and Bristol, and we expect they will become increasingly popular. The team at LGMG have worked with us at every stage especially Russell and it’s been a pleasure to welcome LGMG as a new supplier.”
