Terex to support Load King cranes

Trailer and crane manufacturer Load King has appointed Terex Services as its authorised service provider for its truck canes.

Operating from 19 locations throughout the US, Terex Services will be responsible for providing service support, maintenance, repair and parts for the range of Load King boom and truck cranes as well as any Terex products following the sale of the Terex truck crane assets and parts business last year – see: Terex sells US crane Assets.

John Lukow, senior vice president of Load King Cranes, said: “We are very excited to partner with Terex Services to offer its existing knowledge of after sales support for our products in this important market.”

Richard Gunderman, Terex Services vice president of parts and service, added: “Through this exciting relationship with Load King Cranes, we look forward to providing service support to their customers. By working strategically with our customers, we are able to provide multiple avenues of assistance through our service offerings, parts support and equipment training throughout the United States.”

Load King was formed when Manitex sold its Load King trailer division to Utility One Source – now Custom Truck One Source – in 2015 for $6.5 million - see: Manitex sells Load King. Last year it added the Terex North American truck crane and boom truck business to the Load King operation. Based in Kansas, Custom Truck now sells, mounts, rents and supports a wide range of truck mounted equipment including boom trucks, aerial work platforms, loader cranes and more specialised bodies and equipment, while representing Elliot, Versalift, Terex, National Crane, IMT and Gehl.
