Largest Maeda for Jones
UK rental company Jones Crawler Cranes is set to take delivery of the first 8.1 tonne Maeda CC1908 mini crawler crane in the UK next week, having taken delivery of the UK's first
4.9 tonne Maeda CC985 last year.
Supplied through UK distributor Kranlyft UK, the CC1908 is the manufacturer’s largest mini crawler crane to date, with a five section main boom offering a 20.1 metre maximum tip height and a maximum radius of 19.2 metres. Supplied with the 1.5 tonne fully hydraulic luffing jib - which provides a tip height of 26 metres - features include Stage V diesel power, a 3.5 tonne pick & carry capacity and a 360 degree camera system.

Furthermore, the boom length is greater than normal at 17.7 metres coupled with the fully telescopic luffing fly jib and the zero tail swing, increasing its utilisation on any job.”

Jones' Maeda CC1908 mini crawler crane will be the first to be delivered in the UK
Based in Shaftsebury, Dorset, Jones Crawler Cranes runs a fleet of Maeda, Hitachi, Sennenbogen, Sumitomo and Mantis telescopic and lattice boom crawler cranes with capacities from five to 140 tonnes.
