Man catapulted from platform

A 44 year old man was killed on Friday Dandenong, near Melbourne Australia. The man was unloading a self propelled boom lift from a truck when it appears he was catapulted out of the platform and was possibly then hit by the lift.

The accident happened at a Coates hire depot on the South Gippsland Highway, in Dandenong South. An ambulance was called but the man, who had been working alone, was already dead.
