Largest Jaso for Bauma

Jaso is to launch its largest crane to date the 64 tonne J1400 Low Top, which tops out its H series with jib lengths to 80 metres at which the maximum jib tip capacity is 10.5 tonnes.

The new 64 tonne Jaso J1400

The Low Top designation refers to the fact that the tower head is just 5.57 metres high, but only stands just three metres proud of the jib’s top chords and less than a metre above the substantial back mast which can be rigged with lengths of between 18 and 29 metres. Each module folds for easy transport, allowing the crane to ship in standard shipping containers.

The first unit is already on the way to Singapore for delivery to rental company Crane World Asia (CWA), which has ordered the first four cranes. It plans to use the first on the construction of a light industrial unit, while the others will go to work on a large government housing project where it will be used to work on a Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) lifting 32 tonne housing modules.

The unit will be displayed on the company’s stand at Bauma.
