15 JLG spiders for Stark

Danish builder’s merchant Stark Udlejning has taken delivery of 15 20 metre JLG X20J-Plus lithium-ion battery powered spider lifts from local JLG distributor Lissner.

The Hinowa-built X20J-Plus offers 9.7 metres outreach at an up and over height of 8.2 meres with a 230kg unrestricted platform capacity. Weighing 2,840kg, features include the Hinowa lithium-ion battery pack, an overall stowed width of 800mm – with basket removed - and auto-levelling outriggers.

Stark said the X20J was chosen for its compact dimensions and low transport weight, given that its customers will be required to collect and return the machines from the company’s yard. The electric powered version was also chosen in keeping with its goal to offer a sustainable rental business.

Lissner owner Morten Lissner, said: “The race between the world’s largest producers on developing machines that back up the climate goals and new regulations on noise reduction is on. Specifically, in the Danish market, it is our experience that JLG with the X20J-Plus has a good card to play – and that development of new alternatives is to be continued. We hope that Stark will experience the expected success with JLG X20J-Plus and not least with their high demands for eco-friendly solutions – and that the actual sustainable rental services will in future characterise all the company’s departments.”
