CTE expands spider range

Expanding Italian group CTE has added a second machine to its spider lift range, with the introduction of the 17 metre CS170, which was announced at the SAIE show in Bologna last October, it is now available in one and two man versions.

Available in two versions the CS170 and CS170/1

The two man CS 170 has a 1.3 metre by 700mm platform and has a platform capcity of 200kg. The CS 170/1, on the other hand - with a capacity of 120kg - is intended for use by just one person with tools. Its smaller platform (780x700mm) gives increased manoeuvrability.

Available in one or two man basket variations

CTE claims the unit is able to climb gradients of up to 31 percent, the unit has an overall width of 800mm, with booms retracted and an outreach of 7.5 metres. Weight of the CS170 is just 2,000kg which CTE says is critical feature when transporting the machines and getting it to the point of use.
