MEC Aerial Work Platforms has appointed Kristina Huenergardt as marketing specialist.
Joining the company after more than four years with local irrigation specialist Netafilm she will be responsible for the company’s marketing and communications plan, as well as the tradeshow and event planning, with the aim to elevate its digital presence and increase MEC brand awareness and ultimately preference through strategic marketing campaigns.
She began her marketing career in the housing market, initially with Granville Homes, moving on to Wathan Castanos Hybrid homes 2012, before moving to Beazer Homes as regional marketing manager for Northern California after three years.
Speaking of her new job and new industry she said: “I was attracted by the company’s opportunities and innovation. Their commitment to safety and forward thinking shows through in every machine.”
Deanne Hix vice president of strategic planning and sales operations added: “The addition of Kristina aligns to MEC’s goal of shifting from brand awareness to brand preference. We have a great story to tell about our mission of providing 'A Better Solution' and we are excited to have Kristina on board to get that message out."
