Loxam buys in Spain

Loxam the French based rental group has purchased Realsa Alquiler in south east Spain. Realsa is based in Valencia adds six locations; Castellon, Valencia, Malaga, Albacete, Grenada et Murcia to its existing operation in Spain taking its total outlets to 13.

Realsa, a general rental business, was founded in 1967 and has revenues in the region of €17 million. The company does not currently offer any access equipment apart from platform attachments for its fleet of Dieci telehandlers.

Realsa’s managing director Nemesio Sanchez will continue to manage the business and will assist in developing the overall Loxam business in Spain. No details of the transaction value have been released.
