Lifterz buying and hiring

Lifterz - the new access equipment company formed by father and son team Malcolm and Ben Bowers - has increased its fleet with a £1 million order to Niftylift.

Its depot near Ossett Yorkshire - just a stones throw from junction 40 of the M1 - is now base for about 80 platforms - the majority being 19, 26 and 32 ft electric scissors from Haulotte and Genie.

"I believe we can offer a far better service to the customer. We pride ourselves in offering the best equipment available, at competitive prices but with the added benefit of personal contact," said Ben Bowers.

Lifterz have invested heavily in new equipment including one order for £1 million to Niftylift. These machines include both two and four wheel drive models as well as narrow aisle machines. Ben has also decided to offer trailer-mounted platforms to his customers, as he believes they will appreciate the quick response time these will offer.

According to Tim Ward of Niftylift, Lifterz has also placed a further order for 10 machines this week. "The first batch of 12m, 15m and 17m self propelled machines as well as two trailer machines have already been delivered and the rest will be delivered throughout the year when required."
