High Reach bought by United Rentals

Georgia-based High Reach Equipment Services was been bought by United Rentals yesterday. High Reach has one depot in Norcross, Georgia with annual revenues of about $11 million (£5.6 million.)

Matthew Flannery, vice president - Aerial East Region for United Rentals, said, "High Reach's operation is ideally positioned to complement our branch network in northern Atlanta. The acquisition enhances our ability to share equipment and provide expert solutions to customers."

United Rentals, Inc. is the largest equipment rental company in the world, with a network of more than 760 depots in 48 states, 10 Canadian provinces and Mexico. The company employs 13,900 and offers for rent equipment with a total original cost of $4.1 billion.
