Haulotte updates Diag

Haulotte has updated its Diag diagnostic tool and developed a new version of its Diag mobile app adding improved functionality, including the ability to upload and update a machine’s software. Service engineers and technicians will now have remote access to diagnose any Haulotte machine from their smart phones.

Haulotte launched its Diag tool in 2018, and developers have now modernised the app design and improved the User eXperience. A mechanic can use a smartphone to update a machine’s software directly via a Wi-Fi connection, the software searching is simple and once the technician has connected to the wireless control box on a given machine, the app recognises the equipment, queries the Haulotte technical database and offers to install the best software version for that particular unit. In case there is no network, it is possible to download the machine’s software locally and to update it offline.

The 3.7 version of the app also fixes several bugs and is said to address users’ complaints about slow operation. It is also easier to restore parameters files as they are automatically saved before uploading a software, while machine logs can be shared via email or messaging. The Diag app is available in 12 languages on Android and Windows Mobile, while the IOS version is still under development.

The following video is a tad commercial but does demonstrate the changes and improvements:
