Four more 125ft JLGs for Algeria

Algeria’s National Enterprise of Large Oil Works (ENGTP), a subsidiary of Sonatrach Group, has taken delivery of four more 125ft JLG 1250AJPs earlier this month.

The delivery follows the delivery of six other articulated booms, taking the total units this year to 10.

ENGPTP technical assistant director FE Mouaci said: “The relationship between JLG and ENGTP stems from 2009, the year in which the first orders were formalised between the two companies. ENGPTP operates a fleet of 28 JLG machines with a variety of working heights. The equipment operates on all our sites in the north and south of Algeria during the construction of major works oil and gas companies. The working environment is rough but the JLG machines continue to operate under severe conditions. The equipment has proven to be very reliable allowing us to meet project deadlines and considerably improve our services.”

JLG regional sales director for Southern Europe and North Africa David Courtin said: “As the world leader in designing and manufacturing access equipment, we are very happy that another leader in its category has chosen our machines and renewed its confidence in us once again. As part of all contracts signed with ENGTP, our official JLG distributor in Algeria Fayalift has provided in-depth training to the teams employed by ENGTP and takes care of the technical needs and the supply of spare parts necessary to support the customer in maintaining its products.”
