JLG to brand Dakota Shine

JLG is to add an own brand version of Dakota shine paintwork restorer to its range of after care products. In doing so it joins Caterpillar and Volvo Construction Equipment, both of whom have offered the chemicals for several years.

Dakota Shine includes a clean and prep fluid plus a corn oil based shine restorer, the clear fluid can be sprayed on the whole machine and restores everything from rubber, plastic light lens and paintwork to a like new look.

Lynn Odland president of Dakota Sine says that a 60ft boom lift can be cleaned, rubbed down and sprayed within an hour and a half then allowed to harden overnight.

Future Products of Yeovil has stocked the materials for the past two years, offering them for sale throughout Europe. JLG will now begin marketing its brand of the fluids on a worldwide basis.
