90m Ruthmann for Clearview

UK truck mounted rental company Clearview Access has added a 90 metre Ruthmann T900 HF to its rental fleet. There are now two units in the UK with Blade access having also just taken delivery of a new machine.

Mounted on a five axle Scania chassis, the T900 HF features a five section main boom plus a three section upper boom/jib to offer a maximum outreach of 42 metres with a reduced platform capacity of 350kg. Maximum platform capacity is 600kg, which it can take to its full height and out to 39 metres. Features include the company’s Dynamic Reach System (DRS) which provides the optimum working envelope based on the position of the outriggers, the position of the boom and the weight in basket.

Carl Silcox, Clearview operations manager, said: “The business started as a window cleaning company. We then brought in a couple of truck mounts to assist with that and additional building/maintenance works that were also being undertaken. Within the last three years the platform side of the business has taken off. Given its 90 metre working height, the new T900 HF will be used to assist client on wind farms and construction sites but as well as that we think it will be a big game changer in the UK given the outreach the machine is capable of.”

As well as its fleet of truck mount and spider lifts, the company recently added a traffic management service to its offering earlier this year.
