Collé expands German network

Dutch based access and telehandler rental group Collé Rental & Sales opened a new German location in Kretzschau-Döschwitz in Saxony-Anhalt. The new 'Leipzig-Gera' branch is located 50 kilometres from Leipzig and 30 kilometres from Gera and is the second Collé branch in Germany, joining its other eastern location in Berlin.

The new premises are located close to the autobahn with good connections to the two cities to the north and south. It will stock a wide range of work platforms, telehandlers, cranes, regular fork trucks and other equipment including cabins. The new branch is the company’s eighth in Germany, joining Philippsburg, Bad Salzuflen – Ostwest Falen, Osnabrück, Leer, Hamburg, Bremen and Berlin.

The company announcement said: “With Collé Leipzig-Gera we are investing and strengthening our presence in eastern Germany. Due to the local proximity, we can support and care for our customers on site in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia and beyond. In addition, the new location enables us to raise the regional potential and to be able to use it even better."

Collé also said that it has ambitious plans for further expansion in Germany and is currently looking for premises or acquisition targets in the region of several major cities, including Frankfurt, Dortmund, Cologne, Dresden, Munich and Stuttgart. It is also looking at a couple more locations in the Netherlands.

Collé Rental & Sales runs a rental fleet of more than 15, 000 machines with six locations covering the Benelux countries and so far eight in Germany.
