Loader crane fatality

A man who owned a building supplies business in Limmassol, Cyprus, was fatally injured by a loader crane while unloading materials from his truck on Tuesday.

Vasos Costa, 60, was delivering roof tiles to a construction site in Armenochori, on the eastern outskirts of Limassol, using a Palfinger loader crane when he was trapped and crushed.

According to the local police he was already dead when they arrived. An onsite investigation was held yesterday to try and determine what happened.
