Walker Vehicle Rentals has taken delivery of a Hyva loader from newly appointed Ballinlough

Ballinlough has already booked its first sale with a tipper truck crane combination for Walker Vehicle Rentals which will be provided on contract hire to Cork Council for general materials and waste transportation. Walker Vehicle Rentals is also the authorised dealer for Hyva’s hookloaders and skip loaders in the Republic of Ireland.

Ballinlough sales/aftersales director Neil Jordan said: “We are excited by this opportunity to represent Hyva and will be working hard to build business, as we have done for Thermo King and Dhollandia. We will be working closely with Hyva on sales and our proven aftercare network is ready to provide the technical service and support which is essential in attracting and retaining loyal customers.”

S.M. Components managing director Seamus Hanna and general manager Terry Johnston added: “Hyva is a highly reputable brand which we have always admired. Locally, we already have good relationships with all of the truck dealers and vehicle bodybuilders within Ireland and have an established customer base that is relevant to the Hyva product portfolio. We pride ourselves on only supplying the best quality products and this is something we know we will get from Hyva.”

Dyllan Gomes of Hyva said: “Hyva now has a presence in Ireland again, after a break of more than five years, and we are off to a great start and with both Ballinlough and S.M. Components coming on board. We are strengthening our capability to cover all market segments for crane applications. As a leading service provider, we need partners who share our values and have the expertise and experience in sales and aftersales service to support customers – we believe that both Ballinlough and S.M. Components are well qualified to meet this requirement.”
