N. American distribution for Leguan

Finnish aerial lift manufacturer Leguan Lifts has appointed Avant Tecno USA to distribute its lifts in North America from the start of October.

Avant Tecno USA will also appoint local dealers, mostly selected from its existing dealer network. The plan is to offer the 19 metre Leguan 190 spider lift with a focus on the tree care, heavy duty professional and rental markets.

The 190 features a dual arm riser three section telescopic boom and articulating jib. Maximum outreach is 9.7 metres with 120kg capacity, nine metres with 160kg and 8.3 metres with the maximum platform capacity of 230kg – all with an up & over height of seven metres. It has an overall stowed length of 4.32 metres, a width of 1.25 metres and a total weight of 2,660kg for both the tracked and the wheeled versions.

The Leguan 190 crawler arrives in the USA

Avant Tecno USA has said that it has spent the past few months preparing its sales, service and operations teams to promote the Leguan product line. Earlier this month Leguan Lifts hosted three days of virtual sales and service training for Avant Tecno.
