UK rental company Elite Access Rentals has taken delivery of a 30 metre Teupen Leo 30T Plus spider lift from UK distributor Alfa Access Services.
The 30T Plus offers a maximum outreach of 17 metres with a platform capacity of 80kg, 14 metres with 300kg, or 12.7 metres with the maximum platform capacity of 400kg. Features include radio remote control, an additional two metre platform basket, height and width adjustable tracks and a 450kg lifting device.
Co-owner Adam Gallagher said: “In all the years being in the industry I never thought I’d have a Teupen in my fleet, however with the new Plus series models being released, and a visit to Teupen HQ with Alex Weston of Alfa, I will be ordering more in the near future for sure.”
Co-owner Jonathan Hawksworth added: “The Leo 30T plus will be a game changer for the telecommunication sector given the 400kg platform capacity and the 450kg lifting device to assist the 5G roll out plan.”
Based in Bradford, Elite is a newly formed joint venture between Hawksworth of truck mounted rental company Clearview Services and Gallagher of spider lift rental company Tracked Access Platforms. Last month the company took delivery of the first 43 metre Platform Basket Spider 43T Hybrid spider lift in the UK – see: First Platform Basket 43T in UK.
