UK van and truck mounted rental company Access Hire Nationwide - part of Kelling Group - is set to take delivery of 21 Klubb K38P 13.8 metre van mounted platforms.
Mounted on a 3.5 tonne Renault Master, the K38P offers an outreach of 8.2 metres with 120kg, while its maximum platform capacity of 200kg is available at an outreach of up to 7.5 metres. The vans have been adapted to include a shorter rear landing/step for reduced rear overhang when the platform is raised and a slight reduction in weight. The new machines have been sold and supplied by Klubb's UK distributor CPL which has also received additional orders from Access Hire Nationwide for 2021.
Stephen Moore, chief executive of Kelling group, said: “With the largest and most modern van mounted access platform fleet in the UK, we will continue to invest to provide our customers with the best and most modern products, along with a dedicated 24/7/365 service offering. Our relationship with CPL is longstanding, and the K38P will make a welcome, important, and growing addition to our fleet.”
CPL managing director, Paul Murphy, added: ‘’We have always worked with Access Hire to ensure they have access equipment built to the safest and best quality possible with a short and on time delivery. We have gained Access Hire Nationwide as a van mount customer due to a number of factors including; type approval on the Renault Master, quality and honesty.”
