CTE unveils new B-Lift 27.2

CTE has launched a new and updated version of its 27 metre B-Lift 27 telescopic truck mounted lift with the B-Lift 27.2.

The new model has a five section telescopic boom and offers up to 15.5 metres of outreach with 80kg in the platform, while the maximum platform capacity of 250kg is available at up to 11 metres, with a progressive reduction in capacity out to the maximum outreach. It also features 640 degrees of slew with acceleration and deceleration ramping and 180 degrees of platform rotation. The lift has a totally redesigned chassis subframe that is said to be much lighter, while providing a larger outrigger footprint and a new superstructure weldment.

A key innovation on the new machine is the company’s new S3 EVO ‘Smart Stability System' outrigger set up system which manages the platform’s key working parameters. It also provides a full readout of the working information to the platform control panel, showing actual working heights, outreach and platform load along with possible load and outreach with the actual outrigger set up – including one side only or any infinitely variable width or configuration. The outriggers can be set either from the chassis with simple levers, or from the platform.

The new control system is said to make operation more intuitive and easier to operate. The new machine also includes an updated hydraulic system that delivers faster, smoother simultaneous operation of multiple functions, while the platform control layout is more ergonomic, with repositioned joysticks for a more comfortable operating angle.

The S3EVO system not only includes automatic outrigger levelling and stepless monitoring, but also the ability to set a virtual roof and working envelope including ZTS -Zero Tail Swing all of which are ideal for working in tight areas.

Technical product and innovation manager Roberto Berritta explains the features and benefits of the new machine in the video below:

The first unit of the new CTE B-LIFT 27.2 will be delivered to Dutch sales and distribution company Kraan & Truckservice.
