Almac moves into Ireland

Italian tracked scissor and boom lift manufacturer AlmaCrawler has appointed Irish service and inspection company Inspectec as its new distributor.

Based in Kildare, near Dublin, Inspectec provides independent inspections and thorough examinations for a range of lifting equipment including aerial work platforms, cranes and excavators. It is also a sister company to SME Plant Sales which distributes IHI spider lifts, Hammer breakers and Chicago Pneumatic's construction products. Inspectec will be responsible for the sales, service and spare parts of Almac’s self-levelling tracked boom and scissor lifts throughout Ireland. The company has already delivered its first unit, a Jibbi 1250 Evo to utility ESB.
