Possible dual scissor lift fatality

A fatal industrial incident occurred in Bingley, Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK last Thursday, which looks as though it involved a scissor lift.

The incident occurred on Castlefield Industrial Estate, details are sketchy, but people confirmed that One man, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene while another, 58, died later in hospital.

West Yorkshire Police said: “Emergency services were called to the premises, on the Castlefield Industrial Estate, last Thursday afternoon, October 29th, to a report that two men had been seriously injured. One man, aged 44, was pronounced dead at the scene and another man, aged 58, was taken to hospital for urgent medical treatment. He later died in hospital on Friday.” It added: “a man was arrested in connection with the incident and later released under investigation.”
