Trackunit has announced that its chief executive Joergen Raguse has been appointed vice chairman of the board at Trackunit, while Soeren Brogaard takes over as chief executive effective 1st December.
Raguse joined Trackunit from M-tec in 2012 as sales director, becoming chief executive in 2015. He started out with M-tec as country manager in 2001, and was promoted to sales manager in 2008 and sales director in 2009 where he remained until moving to Trackunit in 2012.
Raguse said: “Over the last three years, we have significantly strengthened the executive team with senior personnel from global and growth companies. This team is ready to deliver the strong growth outlined in our strategy plan towards 2025. Personally, I feel now is an appropriate time for me to pass the torch to Soeren Brogaard to spearhead this next phase. Having already served Trackunit as CTO and CCO, Soeren has been a pivotal contributor to its transformation and growth and it’s my objective to ensure a smooth succession to his leadership.”
Brogaard joined Trackunit fom APC (Schneider Electric) in 2016 as chief technical officer, heading up research and product development, before becoming chief commercial officer in 2018. He started out with APC in 2003 and was appointed director of enterprise software solutions. APC was acquired by Schneider Electric in 2007 and Brogaard remained with the company, taking on the role of vice president of global data centre software and managed services and in 2014 vice president of enterprise management and software, leaving the company for Trackunit two years later.
Brogaard said: “Trackunit has built a great position of trust and confidence by working collaboratively with some of the great manufacturer brands, rental companies and contractors over the last five years. Today we provide world-leading SaaS-based IoT solutions to construction, delivering data and insights for more informed decision making to make the sector more efficient and productive. Our objective is to continue to help construction become more digitally aware and transformed as we journey together to eliminate downtime.”
Trackunit chairman Franck Cohen added: “As a technology visionary, Soeren has played a major role in defining solutions and services which enable partners and customers to realise long term value by working with Trackunit. Soeren’s strong belief in value and purpose driven leadership will continue to be a great asset as we drive the company to greater success. I’d like to underline our thanks to Joergen Raguse for his vision and direction; I’m pleased to have his continued support for Soeren during this new period of expansion and growth.”
