Snorkel upgrades A62JRT

Snorkel has begun production of its newly upgraded 62ft A62JRT articulated Rough Terrain boom lift at its manufacturing facility in the UK.

Originally introduced in 2011 to replace AB62, the A62JRT offers a working height of 20.8 metres, an outreach of 11.1 metres at an up & over height of nine metres and an unrestricted platform capacity of 227kg. Features include 360 degree continuous slew, zero tailswing, a 1.4 metre inside turning radius and hydrostatic four wheel drive with oscillating axle.

The new A62JRT now includes a Stage V/Tier 4 Final Kubota diesel which, coupled with improvements to the hydraulic circuits, is said to offer up to a 50 percent reduction in fuel consumption.
