Haulotte modestly optimistic

This was made up of new equipment sales of €381.5 million - almost 29 percent down on 2019 - while rental revenues plunged 42 percent to €12.5 million, mostly in Argentina where the Covid-19 pandemic had a major impact. Parts and service revenues were €45.6 million, 17 percent lower than in 2019.

The fourth quarter showed signs of a pick up with revenues totalling €114.5 million, 12 percent lower than for the same period of 2019.

European sales were 29 percent lower, and although Asia Pacific picked up strongly thanks to China, it ended the year 14 percent down. In the USA total sales dropped 16 percent, although sales of powered access held up better, ending the year 16 percent lower.
