90m Palfinger for Canary Islands

Spanish crane and transportation company Grúas y Transportes Bony has taken delivery of a 90 metre Palfinger P900 truck mounted platform.

Mounted on a 48 tonne Scania P450 8x4 chassis with a fifth floating axle, the P900 offers a maximum outreach of 32.3 metres with an unrestricted platform capacity of 530kg. The jib articulates up to a 180 degrees and the platform has 170 degrees of rotation.

Features include automatic outrigger setup and levelling, around eight metres of below ground reach, power to the platform and the ability to work in wind speeds up to 15.5 metres a second.

The P900 will predominately be used for maintenance of wind turbines
