UK based Lifting Projects UK has taken delivery of a two tonne and a 15 tonne Galizia all electric pick & carry crane from UK dealer GGR.
The two tonne G20 pedestrian controlled crane has a 5.15 metre three section boom for a 5.3 metre hook height at which it can handle 300kg. Maximum forward reach is 3.5 metres from the front bumper with a 250kg capacity. It has an overall width of 928mm and 180 degree rear steering, which effectively allows the machine to turn on the spot. The 15 tonne G150 operates in a similar manner and has a maximum lifting height of 8.5 metres with a forward reach of 5.5 metres.
The cranes were handed over by GGR sales and business development director, Michael Heneghan to Lifting Projects UK operations director, Chris Turner.
Sharon Keeley, operations director at Lifting Projects UK said: “We chose to partner with GGR as part of our expansion programme, due to their excellent support and varied product range on offer. This is an exciting step forward for Lifting Projects, coming out of a very uncertain 2020 for everyone. Investment in the right equipment for our projects and customers is key to successful growth and we look forward to working with GGR more in the future."
Michael Heneghan of GGR added: “We appreciate Chris and the team choosing GGR as their lifting partner, we are very happy to be associated with such a technically minded, professional lifting team. Once again, this sale confirms how ideally suited the Galizia equipment is to complex, restricted access lifting environments.”
