Winners takes Wumag

Powered access equipment specialists winners-access.com has taken delivery of the first new Wumag WT370 platform in the UK.

The Wumag WT370 - mounted on an MAN TGM 18 tonne chassis sleeper cab - features a four section main boom and two section jib giving a 37 metre working height and up to 29.5m of outreach.

The baskets width to 3.8 metres and 600kg basket capacity means it can be used for a a wide range of applications such as telecommunications work, motorway maintenance, bridge inspections, window cleaning and building restoration.

With multi-position and infinitely variable extendable H-type stabilisers the WT370 varies the outreach dependent upon the load in the basket and the outrigger configuration

Liverpool-based Winners was started by husband and wife team Gary and Susan Winn in 1993 primarily a maintenance company however it is only over the past two years that it has been in the access sector.

The company now employs 14 people nd operates a selection of truck mounted access equipment - primarily working in the telecommunications sector as well as providing general access services.

“We decided to purchase the Wumag WT370 from SkyKing as it was a natural progression in building up the fleet," said Gary Winn. "The new Wumag currently provides the greatest working height and outreach in our fleet enabling us to be more flexible and take on a wider variety of work. We are extremely pleased with the quality and build of the new Wumag platform and the service provided by SkyKing.”
