First Snorkels for FTH

UK rental company FTH Hire group has taken delivery of 10 Snorkel scissor lifts as part of a multimillion pound investment with an aim to increase its fleet size by 30 percent.

The order includes two 19ft S3219Es, four 26ft S3226E and two 32ft S4732E slab electric scissor lifts, plus two 33ft S3370RT compact Rough Terrain scissor lifts. The order was delivered by Snorkel UK's area sales manager, Scott Holtby who also provided machine familiarisation training to the FTH Hire team.

FTH Hire’s director, Peter Marsh, said: “To meet growing demand for lifting equipment, we are expanding our fleet of scissor lifts with this delivery, and taking the first step with Snorkel. We were impressed by the robust build quality of the products, the excellent paint finish which will keep the lifts looking fresher for longer, and the fact that they are assembled right here in the UK.”

The order is part of a multi-million-pound investment

Based in Farnborough, Hampshire, with six other locations across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and Kent, FTH operates a fleet of over 4,000 units including general construction equipment and tools, plus boom and scissor lifts.
