UK's first Pulseo scissors

UK rental company Media Access Solutions has started taking delivery of the first machines of a 15 unit order for 53ft Haulotte HS18E Pro electric Rough Terrain scissor lifts - the first of this model to arrive in the UK.

Launched last November (see: Haulotte unveils Pulseo scissors), the HS18E Pro offers a working height of 18 metres with a 750kg platform capacity. Powered by a 48 volt/435Ah battery pack, features include dual deck extensions, the ability to drive with a platform height of up to 11 metres plus a host of Haulotte’s Activ’ technologies including its Activ’Screen diagnostics, Activ’Energy battery monitoring and Activ’Lighting lighting systems. All 15 units have been ordered in the ‘stealth’ black livery used on TV and film sets but will also be available for general rental.

Managing director, Tim Kendall-Bostock, said: “Our customers have very particular requirements when choosing a powered access platform and we are seeing growing demand toward zero or low emission machines. The new Haulotte Pulseo scissor lifts fit the bill perfectly. They are a well built and robust machine which can be used indoors and outdoors, benefiting our customers tremendously.”

Part of a £1 million order with Haulotte, the company has also ordered four 33ft Compact 12DX Rough Terrain scissor lifts and two 61ft HA20PX boom lifts.
