Crane dumps road beams

A massive concrete beam for an elevated roadway at San Antonio airport in Texas, came crashing to the ground yesterday after the boom on one of them collapsed.

Details are still sketchy on what exactly happened but the boom of a large American crawler crane broke about six metres from its base. No one was hurt in the incident as the I-410 spur road was closed for the weekend while the lifts were carried out
