Genie dealer for West Africa

Genie has appointed access and lifting sales company International Company of Multiservices (ICOM) as its distributor for Senegal, Mauritania, Republic of Guinea, Ivory Coast, Benin, Togo and Equatorial Guinea.

Based in Algeciras, Spain, ICOM specialises in the sale and service of aerial work platforms and lifting equipment. Through its partnership with Moroccan based rental company Eurogrues Afrique, ICOM will now offer Genie’s full range of self propelled platforms and telehandlers as well as provide servicing, spare parts, and training.

Genie said it believes that the African powered access market is maturing and is predicting that West Africa will offer multiple opportunities within the construction and lifting equipment sectors.
