New sales manager for ePicker

US access industry veteran Alan Dotts has been appointed as sales manager for newly formed Texas based stock picker and pallet truck distributor ePicker.

He joins the company - which sells products manufactured by EP Equipment - from Toyota Material Handling where he has been sales manager for special products, including Aichi aerial work platforms, since 2008 - see: Dotts moves to Toyota. That move followed Toyota’s takeover of the North American distribution for Aichi, USA, where he had been general manager.

Dotts began his access career in 1998 when he joined Aichi America, as it was then, as product support manager. Four years later he moved to a similar role at Haulotte US and was promoted to general manager the following year. He left Haulotte in 2005 to re-join Aichi USA, this time as general manager remaining with the business, until it was consolidated into Toyota, which is the major shareholder in Aichi.
