CTE UK adds to sales team

CTE UK has appointed Eddie George as sales manager for the north of the UK.

George is an experienced and talented truck mounted lift operator, and has also gained commercial experience in recent years, although operating large truck mounted lifts already involves plenty of customer contact and communication skills.

He began his career in 2004 as a sales consultant with Kwik Fit Insurance, making a radical change two years later when he joined ES Access as a truck mounted platform operator at its Scottish depot which traded as Brogan Access. His time with ES came to an end as the company moved towards administration, which finally came in 2010. He moved to the UK division of Height for Hire, initially as a large tuck mounted lift operator, and was promoted to truck mount supervisor/Bronto Academy trainer in 2015. He had a brief spell with Onestop Access before joining BMS UK as technical sale manager. A year ago, he moved to Glasgow based Palmer Access, which runs Bronto and Ruthmann truck mounted lifts, where he was powered access operations & business development manager.

Craig Rooke of CTE UK said: “Eddie has vast experience with truck mounts and spiders from his time as an operator and recently in his roles working in rental. He has 10 years’ experience with truck mounts and spider lifts primarily operating truck mounts of various sizes, he developed the truck mount division academy at Height for Hire where he was at for eight years.”

“For me Eddies experience in operating truck mounts will be very valuable to CTE’s customers which will show through when he is speaking with them and demonstrating our equipment. We welcome Eddie to our team here as our business is growing, we are selling more and more equipment now and having a dedicated sales person covering the north of the UK this will support our business and customers better as we keep pushing forward. Eddie will be on our stand 108 at Vertikal Days this September.”
