After sales manager for Sinoboom

Chinese aerial lift manufacturer Sinoboom has appointed Karel Verheul to the newly created role of senior after sales manager for Europe, based at Sinoboom Europe's headquarters in Ridderkerk, on the south east side of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Verheul joins the company from Genie where he had worked for more than 34 years - his entire access career - most recently as European technical support manager. In his new role with Sinoboom he will have similar responsibilities, providing service and technical support to Sinoboom’s European customer base, while expanding the range or after sales services it offers. He joined Genie Industries in 1987 as European service manager, with a change in title to technical support manager coming in 2010, before leaving the company at the start of the summer.

Sinoboom Europe chief executive Tim Whiteman, said: “The creation of this new position is a significant investment by Sinoboom, and we are delighted to have Karel joining the team. Karel Verheul has a strong reputation for his technical skills, knowledge and attitude and clearly has a preference for pale blue. He brings with him, not only years of experience but a very wide range or close contacts. He will be an asset to the up and coming manufacturer.
