Genie TraX for French logistics centre

French building contractor Boulet Bâtiment has purchased one of the first few 62ft Genie Z-62/40 TraX articulated boom lifts to arrive in France.

The new four track mounted boom lift went straight to work on the construction of a new logistics warehouse for a freight company working from the port of Calais. The Z-62/40 TraX offers a maximum working height of just under 21 metres, an outreach of 12.42 metres at an up & over height of 7.8 metres with 227kg platform capacity.

The four tracked Z-62/40 TraX can handle all types of ground conditions and travel easily between areas

Boulet Bâtiment is based in Azincourt - or if you are British, Agincourt, site of the famous battle - to the south of Calais. Its main activities include structural steelwork and frame installation, roofing, cladding and indoor finishing. The company purchased the new machine, from Genie dealer EMM which is based in Cappelle-la-Grande, near Dunkirk.

How did Boulet Bâtiment learn about the Genie Z-62/40 TraX? One of the company’s managers, Aoife Desgrousilliers spotted an advert in an industry magazine, and contacted Genie, which passed the enquiry to Emmanuel Mouillière, its regional sales manager who responded to the customer with his dealer EMM. And the rest, as they say, is history.
