New board member for Ring Power

US-based Caterpillar dealer and crane company Ring Power has promoted Mike Beauregard to senior vice president and general manager of its newly merged of its Utilities, Truck and Crane divisions along with a seat at the group's board of directors.

Beauregard joined Ring Power in 2003 as a sales trainee in the heavy equipment service shop, initially focusing on Caterpillar equipment. In 2004, he was promoted to heavy equipment rental coordinator relocating in 2005 to the company’s Palm Bay branch as manager. In 2010 he took up a new opportunity with the company representing the utility products offered by Ring Power. Three years later he was promoted to general manager of the Utility Equipment group, which was still under Ring Power’s Cat Rental Store umbrella, but by 2017 it had grown to the point where it became a separate division within the company. More recently the Utility Equipment division took over Ring Power’s Truck Service business and then when Dave Glass retired as vice president of the Crane Division in January, the crane sales, rental, parts and service support operations were merged with Beauregard’s Utility business.

Chief executive Randal Ringhaver said: “Mike has shown great leadership in the rapid growth and management of our utility business and is always searching for new ways to better serve our customers.”
Beauregard added: “Being appointed to Ring Power's board of directors is a great honour. I am excited about the opportunity to engage with the talented leadership already in place and look forward to being able to add some additional perspective and value from the businesses we have recently aligned with Utility. We are at a pinnacle moment in the growth of our Utilities, Crane and Truck businesses and having more direct access to our senior leadership will be key to implementing our dynamic vision for the future.”
