More dual capacity LGMG booms

LGMG is to launch further models in what will be a four model line up of high/dual capacity diesel powered telescopic boom lifts, which it is dubbing the ‘H-Series’.

The four models are: the 65ft T65JH/T20J, 72ft T72JH/T22J which have already been announced in Europe, plus the new 85ft T85J-H or T26J in other markets, and the 92ft T92J-H/T28J. Working heights are 22, 24, 28 and 30 metres respectively. Dual platform capacities on all four are 300kg unrestricted and 450kg with a reduction in the maximum outreach.

All four units feature articulating jibs, triple entry platforms, four wheel drive, four wheel steer, oscillating axles, 360 degree continuous slew and automatic engine speed control. Regulators match the engine speed to the function requirement, adjusting it downwards for light duty functions such as platform lowering and increasing it for higher loadings such as fast lift and telescope.

More than 95 percent of the main components and 80 percent of the structural fabrications are interchangeable between the models. Full specifications have yet to be released for the very latest model - the 30 metre T28J (T92J-H in North America) - we will update this item as soon as we receive them.
