Tanfield Appointment

The Tanfield Group has appointed Colin Thomas Billiet as a non-executive director. Billiet, 59, is currently chief executive of Nano-Porous Solutions of Gateshead and has a technical background with many patents and technical papers to his name.

Billiet spent 34 years with the Domnick Hunter Group as CEO he was involved in an MBO of the filtration company, prior to selling out to Parker Hannifin in 2005. he departed in May 2006. He is also a former president and a director of the British Compressed Air Society.

He is now a non-executive director of Lontra a company looking to commercialise the Lindsey engine a highly efficient environmentally friendly engine.
