SED a success

As expected the number of visitors passing through the gates of SED this year was down on previous years at less than 19,000.

However the vast majority of exhibitors we spoke to were very happy with the quality of those coming onto their stand with some companies reported their best show ever.

In terms of pure numbers this years attendance was the lowest since at least 2003 and around 15 percent down on its all time record in 2005, the last at its Fen Farm location.

With last years traffic problems seemingly solved, and given that this was a Bauma and a Hillhead year, perhaps the show has turned a corner and will return next year to its previous growth record.
