Scissor lift table manufacturer and low level lift company EdmoLift is building a new production facility at its plant in Härnösand, in eastern Sweden.
The new facility is expected to significantly boost the current 6,500 unit annual production volumes, adding to its 100 employees and reducing manual handling.
Work began on the 1,435 square metre building earlier this year and should be completed by the end of the year, with an additional machine tool area coming on line in the spring of 2023. The plan is to take revenues to more than SK300 million (€28 million) by 2025.
In addition to its range of scissor lift tables, the company also offers four models of mast type work platforms with working heights from 3.5 to 5.99 metres which it brands from Swedish manufacturer Safelift.
Chief executive Anders Wahlqvist said: “The need for EdmoLift's products is growing, and for us to be able to continue delivering smart lifting solutions and at the same time maintain our position as the market leader in our industry, we need to increase our capacity and flexibility to be able to meet future needs. The new facility aligns with our long term plan to grow, and we look forward to seeing the final result - a facility adapted to EdmoLift's continued expansion.”
