New terminal for Heathrow approved

Planners have given the go ahead for a new £1.5 billion airport terminal at Heathrow to replace the aging terminals one and two. Construction is likely to go ahead as Terminal five is opened next year.

The new terminal is due to open in time of the London Olympics in 2012.

In addition major refurbishment work will go ahead on terminal four.
